At Goldline Moves, we recommend that once you know you are moving that you start obtaining quotes straight away but usually around 6 weeks prior to moving is adequate for most. Quotations are valid for up to 6 months and it’s important that you get the right price and service you need to ensure your move can be as swift and efficient as possible.

The average removal is completed on the same day, however, every job is different. Larger moves may, for example, need to be loaded up the day before you move and other challenges like packing, access, distance and waiting for keys can delay proceedings.

With our Complete Packing Services, We can supply closed lid, tough plastic boxes which are reusable. We sell these at trade rate and offer a loan option for removal crates or you can alternatively provide your own.

Ideally, we do require notice in order to plan efficiently but we can also operate and maintain high standards on short notice. In an ideal world, you would contact us once the chain of events is in place with your solicitor and you can confirm a date for us to move you. We would always recommend booking early and will always try to hold a provisional booking until it is confirmed out of respect to the client.

You pay a deposit upfront which secures staff and vehicles for the move. The remaining balance is payable the day before or onthe day of your move.
